I've spent my life "figuring things out" well before the invention of YouTube, or the internet. I was raised by a single-mom, and was often found fixing bicycles with a butter-knife

I have always had a fondness for wood, which lead me to carpentry school many years ago. I am often described as a Jack (or Jill) of all trades, and I am always willing to learn something new. I am an artist at heart and I find working with my hands deeply therapeutic. 

As a woman, I know what it is like to be underestimated, and I have had to push against the current much of my life. What started out as necessity has become a heart-led passion to help others feel confident in their ability to DIY.

My mission now is to empower you with the basic skills needed to take care of common issue that arise in your home. Whether you are single mom, a young person, recently widowed, or just ready to be your own handy-person...
